Feeling suicidal, or you just don't want to be alive? You are definitely not alone.
There are people who want to help you. Please let them. If you are seriously considering suicide right now, please allow someone to help you. You can call any of the people in the section below. Some of the phone numbers will only work in certain areas so check the area or country. If you can't get through right away or the phone number doesn't work in your area, try a toll-free (no cost) number if there is one listed in your country. If there is not, you can call the police emergency number and ask for help.In most of the USA and Canada, just dial 911. You can also call many people in your life who will want to help you if you let them and ask them. Many people have had thoughts like this and will understand. So you might call a parent or a friend or even a friend's parents if you feel weird about telling your own parents right now. You can also call a clergy person (Minister, Priest, Rabbi, etc). Like I said, there are people who can and will help you.

Depression is not just feeling sad, or "blue". Short term depression is perfectly natural and may be a way of coping with certain things that may happen to us. For instance, the death of a family member or friend may bring on short term depression. That is normal. But depression that lasts and that makes us stop enjoying many or all aspects of life, or that just seems to spiral deeper and deeper, is not normal and it must be dealt with.
Depression comes in many forms and affects people from every part of society. It is both a medical condition and an emotional burden and it may take some time to deal with effectively. You may need help from your family doctor, counselling, medication, psychotherapist or psychologist or a combination of some of these resources. One common feeling among people who are depressed is that "no-one can help them". This may feel true for a depressed person but it is not the truth. Please ask your family doctor or other health professional, or a school counsellor what the signs of depression are. Or you can easily look up the signs on-line. Note that you do not have to have all listed symptoms to be in a state of "clinical depression". However, it is probably helpful to have an impartial person like a medical person or counsellor help you determine if you have depression and what is the first thing to do to try deal with it.

General and Family Counselling Counsellors do not magically "fix" things for you. They are impartial so they can look at your situation and recommend or suggest ways to help you identify what you want to happen to help you and strategies to help you do it. Counselling can be a tremendous help to many people. Sometimes though, a particular counsellor may not be as helpful as you need and in that case, you should feel OK asking for a different counsellor.
